Welcome to The Otter Consultancy, a long established provider of occupational safety, health, ergonomics and personnel management services to a wide variety of industrial and commercial organisations.

In brief, our company was formed in 1990 and provides a range of services in occupational safety, health and ergonomics, plus personnel recruitment, management and life coaching. We also have a select number of Associates who help us provide a carefully tailored service to each client. We want to ensure you are satisfied with our support and to work in a proper partnership to make your organisation a safe, healthy and profitable one!

We can provide most essential health and safety services ranging from site inspections to identify immediate problems and recommend corrective actions, to helping develop safety systems and support documentation. We design and run specific training courses for organisations and also produce complete training packages for in-house use. Whatever your needs, ask and we will be happy to talk to you. If you want a service we don't feel we can supply we will be honest and tell you so but we will try to recommend someone else to help you solve your business problem.

We want our internet site to be a source of valuable information for you !  We will be constantly adding articles on topics of interest, pictures that may be of use to you, links to other internet sites of interest, and more. For example, we are very much involved with vehicle use at work, we help with policy development and advice on driver selection, qualification and training. We run, in conjunction with Mike Browne of MBA Safety in Taunton, the National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health (NEBOSH) National General Certificate in Safety and Health. The course is hosted either by ourselves, or by CRONER TRAINING, a well know name in health and safety training.

We can run this course, or any others, as a tailored in-company course for you. Please ask for more details.
